Art Brokerage: B. 1956 - Born in Russia in 1956, Liudmila Kondakova immigrated to the United States in 1991. A graduate of the Grabar Center in Moscow, she also attended Russia's School of Sacred Arts, the Pedagogical Institute and the Moscow Art Institute. Kondakova is an iconographer of the city. Her paintings, rich with clarity and light, reflect in their extraordinary draftsmanship a sense of artistic and spiritual well being. Her style, described as Romantic Realism, and her meticulous attention to detail allow the viewer to become involved in the life of her paintings. Her work has been exhibited in numerous one-person shows in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago and is held in corporate and private collections throughout the world.
